People often ask us why we chose Standard Poodles. The answer is simple: after living with them, it’s hard to imagine life without them.
Standard Poodles combine intelligence, athleticism, versatility, and companionship in a way few breeds can. They are quick learners, eager participants in family activities, and capable of excelling in everything from obedience and agility to hiking, swimming, and simply spending time with the people they love.
One of the breed’s most recognizable features is its low-shedding coat. While that coat requires regular grooming, many families appreciate having less hair around the house and fewer allergy concerns than they experience with some other breeds.
Standard Poodles are equally comfortable joining you on an outdoor adventure or relaxing at home with the family. They are playful without being overwhelming, intelligent without being difficult, and affectionate without being overly demanding.
Perhaps what we appreciate most is their ability to adapt. Over the years, we have seen Standard Poodles become loyal companions, family dogs, therapy dogs, hiking partners, and trusted friends.
They are elegant when they want to be, goofy when they think nobody is watching, and always seem to find a way to become an important part of the family.
