Vaccination & Parasite Management

The health of our puppies is one of our highest priorities. From birth until they leave for their forever homes, each puppy receives careful attention to help ensure they are healthy, well-socialized, and ready for their new family.

Parasite Prevention

Parasites such as hookworms and roundworms can be common in young puppies. To help protect our litters, we follow a regular deworming schedule and maintain strict cleaning and sanitation practices. A clean environment and proactive care help reduce the risk of parasites and support healthy development.

Vaccinations

Our puppies begin their vaccination schedule before going home. These early vaccinations help build a foundation of protection during the critical first weeks of life.

However, it is important for families to understand that the vaccination process is not complete when they pick up their puppy. Your veterinarian will help you continue and complete the vaccination series based on your puppy’s age and individual needs.

Parvo Prevention

Parvovirus is a serious and highly contagious disease that primarily affects puppies. While vaccinations provide important protection, puppies remain vulnerable until their vaccination series is complete.

For this reason, we recommend avoiding dog parks, pet stores, and other areas heavily frequented by dogs until your veterinarian advises that your puppy is fully protected. A little extra caution during the first few months can help prevent a potentially life-threatening illness.

Working With Your Veterinarian

We encourage every family to establish a relationship with a veterinarian soon after bringing their puppy home. Regular veterinary care, proper vaccination schedules, parasite prevention, and routine wellness exams are all important parts of helping your puppy grow into a healthy adult dog.

By combining careful breeding, early puppy care, and responsible follow-up veterinary care, we help give every puppy the best possible start in life.
