The Way Buying a Poodle Should Be!
Carrie was absolutely outstanding in the days and weeks leading up to bringing Goose home. She provided daily pictures and updates, enabled remote camera access to view the pups any time of day, and demonstrated throughout the process that she provides a loving home for her dogs. I so appreciate her time, responsiveness, and quality of service. I highly recommend Mainely Standards to anyone who wants to bring a delightful four-legged friend into their home!

Carrie was great to work with and her poodles are all amazing. We got Jasper 3 weeks ago and he has been an absolute joy. I took him on my kayak and he was great. He’s very smart, curious and adventurous. We are hoping to start puppy school soon with the goal of becoming a Therapy Dog later. His temperament is perfect. Such a love.
Noah joined our family when he was 7 months old and we cannot imagine life without him! Carrie and Brian were absolutely amazing to deal with during the entire process of getting to know their dogs, and their breeding, training, and puppy placement philosophies. They take incredible care in making sure that all of their puppies find the perfect match in a forever home, so they were very interested in getting to know me as well. Noah is a wonderfully loving, silly, smart, friendly, and loyal companion, and I know it is because he received just what he needed from a very young age. He is also so beautiful…wherever I go, people are eager to stop and meet him, something he of course loves! Carrie and I remain in touch and she loves to hear how Noah is doing. I send photos and updates, and recently went to visit! If you are looking for a standard poodle (the best dog breed by far), Mainely Standards is the place to go!

Carrie was fabulous to work with! She gave the puppies lots of attention and care to get them ready for their homes. And, I appreciated the puppy cam she set up; my fifth grade students and I checked in each day to see how they were progressing. Such fun! We absolutely love our sweet poodle, Josie! She’s spunky, smart, and seems to have a funny sense of humor. Such a ball of love too!

What great puppies. Carrie and her family obviously love what they do. They spend a lot of time producing, acclimating and training puppies for their new homes. She got to know us and then helped us pick what would be the most perfect puppy for our household. She encouraged us to visit with the puppy multiple times before taking her home (we lived close enough for this to be an option) and has been great at answering any questions along the way. Even after our puppy has been living with us, Carrie has been there to assist with questions or guide us. Our puppy Sadie, has now been with us for a week and she is just the sweetest pup and we are so glad Carrie helped match us to her and vice versa.

This was my first time buying a registered AKC dog and I can say that my experience was phenomenal with them. I received a lot of wonderful pictures and videos! I even got to FaceTime and see the puppies too. She answered a lot of questions that I asked, very helpful! My Prince is finally here and I love him so much! He was taken well care of and will continue being well taken care of by me :). I would definitely recommend to anyone that I know who is looking to buy a red standard poodle.
